United States Lighthouse Society Passports

The US Lighthouse Society sponsors a Lighthouse Passport Program. We offer USLH Society Passports at $11.00, tax included. Our boats carry Passport Stamps for the Isle au Haut Light and the West Mark Island Light. The Isle au Haut Light can be seen on any of our scheduled Stonington/Isle au Haut trips (just tell the Captain you'd like a photo-opportunity). The Mark Island Light is part of our Scenic Excusions, or by request to the Captain on a scheduled trip, time and weather permitting.

2010 Lighthouse Tours

Midcoast Maine is home to many beautiful and historic lightouses. Isle au Haut Boat Services is offering a tour of six lighthouses on three summer Sundays in 2010. Vistors will ride our fully Coast Guard licensed and inspected 47 foot passenger boat, the Mink, for a cruise lasting about four hours.Brown's Head Light

Leaving our Stonington wharf at 11:00 am on July 18, August 15 and September 19, we'll cruise past the Mark Island Light at the western entrance to Deer Isle Thorofare and then cross the East Penobscot Bay to view the Goose Rocks Light. We'll travel through the Fox Islands Thorofare, passing picturesque North Haven Village, and then pass the Brown's Head Light and its keeper's house. After travelling down the west side of Vinalhaven Island, we'll see the Heron Neck Light. Sailing back across the bay, if weather permits we'll stop for photos at remote Saddleback Ledge, and then return to the Isle au Haut Thorofare for a view of the Isle au Haut Light on Robinson's Point.
