Join us aboard Otter for a fun-filled, family-friendly evening cruise on the waters of Stonington Harbor and Penobscot Bay. This special Downeast Maine fireworks cruise offers front-row seats to one of the most magical nights of the summer.
We’ll depart from our dock at 8:00 PM and begin with a narrated tour through historic Stonington Harbor, sharing local history, island lore, and stories of the working waterfront. As we cruise toward open water, we’ll watch the sun set beside Mark Island Light, one of the area’s most scenic landmarks.
Keep your eyes on the water — seals and porpoises are often spotted near the boat.
As darkness settles, we’ll position ourselves for the main event: the Stonington 4th of July fireworks, viewed up close from the best seat in the house — the harbor itself, with the village lights shimmering behind us.
It’s a truly unforgettable Maine summer evening.
Cruise Details
Where: from our wharf at 27 Seabreeze Avenue in Stonington in Deer Isle, Maine
When: July 4th, we will leave at 8:00 PM. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure for parking and check-in. We will return to the wharf after the fireworks conclude
How: Guests are welcome to bring food and beverages onboard. Please dress for cooler temperatures on the water after sundown.

Price: Adults - $34; Children under 12 - $27
